SHOOTING DIGITALAdditional Resources & References
In this chapter I explained how two photographers use the built-in flash on the Nikon Coolpix 990 to trigger external strobes. This technique does not always work with other digital cameras. Some digital cameras use a short, pre-flash, to set white balance. This will prematurely trigger an external strobe with poor results. For a solution to this problem, and a detailed discussion of the subject, go here.
